Aehobakjuk (young zucchini gruel)

This gruel is made of young zucchini and thin-shelled surf clam, which is easily available in the coasts of Gyeongsang province.


Ingredients

young zucchini (pumpkin) 100g, thin-shelled surf clam 100g, sesame oil 1 Tbsp, regular rice 2 C, rice-washed water 10 C, soy sauce 1 Tbsp


Directions

1) Wash rice, save washing water and soak rice.

2) Mince thin-shelled surf clam and stir-fry with sesame oil. Add rice-washed water and soaked rice and boil 30 minutes on a medium heat.

3) After rice is well cooked, season with soy sauce.

4) Add shredded zucchini to cook vivid green. When zucchini is cooked, put in a bowl and serve.
