Agujjim (steamed angler)

Soybean paste and hot pepper soybean paste are dissolved in anchovy broth. Then thick slices of angler are added with bean sprouts, water cresss, large green onions, and red pepper; boil.


dried angler 400g, bean sprouts 100g, 1 bunch of watercress, 3 roots of large green onion, 2 red peppers, soy sauce, sugar

Hot pepper soybean paste seasoning: hot pepper soybean paste 3 Tbsp, garlic 1 Tbsp, ginger 2 tsp, salt, anchovy broth 1 C, soybean paste 1 Tbsp, red pepper powder 1 Tbsp


1) Cut dried angler into the right size and boil with water completely.

2) Trim bean sprouts and boil in salt water.

3) Season hot pepper soybean paste with garlic, ginger, and salt, and soften with anchovy broth.

4) Mix with boiled angler and boil. Then, add bean sprouts, watercress, large green onions, and red peppers. While boiling, add soybean paste and red pepper powder; season.
* Same method is applied for fresh angler.
